UTP (Unshielded Twisted-Pair) cable

A branch of twisted-pair cabling that uses four pairs of colored wire. UTP is vulnerable to EMI and uses an RJ-45 connector. There are five categories of UTP cable, labeled Category 1 to Category 5.
