4G

4th generation of mobile phone communications standards. It is a successor of the third generation (3G) standards. A 4G system provides mobile ultra-broadband Internet access, a fully Internet protocol based packet switched network. Wireless standards with 4G capability include 3GPP LTE, Ultra Mobile Broadband, WiMAX and WiBro.
