Space-Frequency Block Coding is a frequency-domain version of the Space-Time Block Codes. The family of codes is designed that the transmitted diversity streams are orthogonal and achieve the optimal Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) with a linear receiver. Those orthogonal codes exist for the case of two transmit antennas.
